The temple has a total area of 49,600 square meters. It is believed that the temple was built around the year 1767-1807, during King Taksin the Great era. The art design of this temple is Ayutthaya style combined with the Rattanakosin style. Inside the temple, there is a large pavilion, which is enshrined with the statue of many famous monks, and the important Buddha in Thailand. Also, the five Benjaphaek amulets are enshrined here such as "Phra Lod Muang Lamphun", "Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang", "Phra Nang Phaya Phitsanulok", "Phra Chum Ko", "Phra Phong Suphan", "Phra Luang Phutthasathon" which is the city's sacred of Chachoengsao Province. There is also a hundred years old hall built in the reign of King Taksin the Great in front of the temple, which enshrines "Luang Pho To" statue inside.
