    Nakhon Nueang Khet Ancient Market is aged more than 130 years, and was once named as Si Yeak Tha Kai since there is the Tha Kai canal passed through. Around the market area, the Tha Kai Canal and the Nueang Khet Canal intersect each other and form the junstion which is now developed as a center of trading by boat of the people in that area. The important products such as paddy rice, tea and oil. However, with the change in transportation, the trading was stagnant, but the old houses and the way of life along the two canals still exist.
