Khuean Srinakarin National Park was declared a national park on December 23, 1981, is the 28th national park of Thailand, with a total area of ​​approximately 957,500 rai or 1,532 square kilometers. It covers the area of ​​Phra Hermit Mountain and Bo Rae forest in Cha Lae Subdistrict, Tha Khanun, Hin Dat and Lin Tin Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Khao Jot Sub-district, Na Suan, Mae Chalab, Nong Ped and Tha Kradan Sub-district Si Sawat District and Sai Yok Sub-district, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province.

Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary has wedge-shaped mountain which was formed across from the north to the south. The majority of Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary are folded mountain with plains between valleys, and also is a Khwae Yai River's upstream, the area is 700-1000 meters from mean sea level, the highest mountain peak is "Khao Hua Loan" which is 1170 meters from mean sea level which located at the center of this wildlife sanctuary as a upstream for many of brooks such as Sa Dong Brook, Mae Lamun Brook, Mae Pla Sroy Brook, and Ya Ka Ki Brook. The scond highest peak is "Khao Sung" which is 1,149 meters from mean sea level. At the north of Salakpra Wildife Sanctuary, there is upstream for E Su Brook, Nam Khaow Brook, Kra Proi Brook and Mae Lamun Brook.
