    The Wat Pa Nong Son used to be Khok (little forest in village). Phra Kru Chotivorakun, the practice of Luang Pu Cha Priest of Kosum - Chiang Yuen district (Dhammayut Nikaya) has an idea to build an ordinary hall for religious ceremonies here to preserve the arts and culture of the people in the community. The villagers and their disciples have joined together to donate funds for the construction by having studied in a style from Laos with the body of ordinary hall is 20 meters width, 30 meters length, and 20 meters height, It took 9 years to complete the construction. It is ordinary hall or sim in northeast language, so the villager always called Sim Wat Pa Nong Son, it is a sim art in Lan Chang that very rare, just few area in northeast.   • KOSUMPHI FOREST PARK
    The Kosumphi Forest Park is a dry evergreen forest with the total area 208,000 square meters. It is a natural breeding ground for rubber trees and also plenty of the tooth brush tree are growing up on the wide court. The middle of the forest has a bog that is called "Nong Bung" Currently, a suspension bridge is being built across this bog, it consist of the beautiful scenery and a natural study path, a concrete road that are available for tourists who can walk or cycle around the park.     It was located at the Ban Sa at Khan Tharat sub district, Kantharawichai district. It is enshrined of Phra Phuttha Mongkhol, the priceless Buddha image of Kantharawichai district, it is a sandstone Buddha image in Dvaravati art, about 4 meters high. The originally in a damaged condition, later in the year 1917, it was fill to completed and it was registered as an important national antiquities on 8 March, 1935. Nowadays, the Phra Phuttha Mongkhol is enshrined in the courtyard of the temple, around the courtyard of the Bodhi, there are two boundary of a bot or stone sema leaves in the Dvaravati period, are surrounded by two layers in all eight directions, the characteristics of boundary of a bot are flat sheets and square bar.
