San Mueang Ma Temple is named after the village of Mang Nai in Xishuangbanna, China. The temple was constructed in the Tai Lue style. The temple area has both Thai and Chinese signs. Because Tai Lue people travel between Thailand and Xishuangbanna in search of food. It is said to have been erected during the early Rattanakosin era. The roof is covered with hardwood pellets, which is extremely attractive in Tai Lue style. Wat Saen Muang Ma, located near the Chiang Kham Bus Terminal in Ban Mang, Yuan Sub-district, Chiang Kham District, is one of the temples that should not be overlooked when visiting Chiang Kham.
