It is on an area of approximately 160,000 square meters in Mukdahan National Park. There are many types of rare plants, such as the Vietnamese mickey mouse and Melientha. In the past, the villagers always went to the mountains to collect Melientha.
It is in Mueang Mukdahan District. It is a mountain that is not very high. Wat Roi Phra Phutthabat Phu Manorom is an old temple where you can see the scenery of Mukdahan Province, Mekong River, and Savannakhet Province of Laos. There is a Buddha footprint made of sandstone, width 80 centimeters, length 1.8 meters.
At present, Mukdahan Province constructs a Buddha image in honor of His Majesty King Rama IX on the 7th cycle birthday anniversary of December 5, 2011. It is a Maravijaya Buddha image with a lap size of 39.99 meters and a height of 59.99 meters, including the height from the base to the top head of 84 meters. The construction budgets are from the government 75 million baht and donations from general Buddhists.
There is another landmark, "Ong Phaya Sri Mukda Maha Muni Nil Palanakharat," the new landmark of Mukdahan. Wat Roi Phra Phutthabat Phu Manorom is away from Mukdahan to the south, around 5 kilometers along the Mukdahan-Don Tan route.
